Ownership

GEN-I's operations are based on the principles set out in the memorandum of association, which was drafted in 2006 by shareholders Istrabenz-Gorenje, d.o.o. and GEN energija, d.o.o. Both shareholders have equal 50% stakes in the company. In 2011, there was a transformation in the ownership structure of Istrabenz Gorenje d.o.o. and the company’s name was changed to IG energetski sistemi, d.o.o.  

GEN-I has a number of fully owned subsidiaries, which are established in line with its strategy of expanding to foreign markets.
