Organization

The GEN-I Group has established subsidiaries and operates on the following markets: Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania and Greece. All subsidiaries are fully owned by the parent company GEN-I, d.o.o., which has two organizational units in Slovenia.

GEN-I Group companies engage in local and cross-border trading of electricity products and cross-border transfer capacities, and depending on the development of individual markets they also have the infrastructure necessary to sell electricity to large business customers and households.

Most trading activities are carried out at the parent company with headquarters in Slovenia and as part of the trading unit in Ljubljana, while the local presence on the above markets enables the Group to better understand market needs and respond quickly and effectively to changing market conditions.
