Change to the general terms and conditions of GEN-I, d.o.o. for the supply of electricity to medium-sized business customers

08/04/2022

This is to inform medium-sized business customers with a valid electricity supply contract or contracts (hereinafter: contract) and an annex or annexes thereto that the provisions of the general terms and conditions of GEN-I, trgovanje in prodaja električne energije, d.o.o. for the supply of electricity to medium-sized business customers dated April 1, 2022 (hereinafter: the new general terms and conditions) shall be effective from May 1, 2022 (inclusive). The new general terms and conditions represent the final version of the amended general terms and conditions of GEN-I, trgovanje in prodaja električne energije, d.o.o. for the supply of electricity to medium-sized business customers dated July 1, 2020 (hereinafter: the previously valid general terms and conditions) and replace them in full. The new general terms and conditions shall apply to contracts concluded prior to May 1, 2022, which reference the previously valid general terms and conditions, and to contracts concluded on and after May 1, 2022, which reference the new general terms and conditions.

If a customer with a valid contract or contracts and an annex or annexes thereto does not agree with the provisions of the new general terms and conditions, which are as equally binding on the customer as a contract, they may inform the seller (GEN-I, d.o.o.) in writing accordingly within one month from the effective date of the new general terms and conditions and provide a written statement that they are withdrawing from the relevant contract or contracts because they do not agree with the new terms and conditions. However, that statement of withdrawal shall not be deemed a withdrawal in accordance with the provisions of point 19 of the new terms and conditions. A customer’s written statement of withdrawal shall be deemed timely if it is received by the seller by regular mail or email by June 1, 2022 (inclusive).

If a customer fails to provide and the seller does not receive a written statement of withdrawal by the envisaged deadline and the customer fails to switch suppliers by the first possible deadline, the customer shall be deemed to agree with the provisions of the new terms and conditions and the latter shall become behind with respect to that customer.

The final version of the amended general terms and conditions and notification (found on the reverse side of a bill/or in a separate letter) of changes, the effective date thereof and the right to withdrawal shall be communicated directly to the customer by the seller.
